Quanser’s legendary SRV02 servomotor system featured a highly innovative, modular platform for teaching and research, and was supported by pioneering software that allowed real-time control on common PC platforms. This product is now the de facto standard for DC servomotor experimentation platforms worldwide.
Immediately popular with university labs around the world, the Quanser product line grew to include over 80 control devices and plants, including specific applications for flight control, unmanned vehicles, structural dynamics, haptics, robotics and more. Quanser innovations continue and today, our systems range from low cost, compact experiments accessible to any undergraduate program, to advanced research platforms for a broad range of demanding control, mechatronic, and robotics research. Quanser innovations in software and courseware now extend to immersive hardware-in-the-loop teaching applications that integrate rigorous engineering principles with industry-relevant visual applications.
In 2003 Quanser entered into a global partnership with National Instruments (NI), the world leader in data acquisition and instrumentation solutions. This relationship led to the development of a new series of products that brought Quanser’s unique advantages to an even wider audience of researchers and teachers. Collectively, National Instruments and Quanser offer the premier, end-to-end solutions for control systems education and research throughout the world.
Today, with a presence in over 2,500 education and research institutions, and through our close association with the leading engineering societies around the world, Quanser has established itself as the dedicated global leader in control systems and in modern engineering education.
