Webinar Details
In this webinar, John Pineros will give a brief introduction to ROS, where it can be found in research/industry along with some considerations you, as the researcher, should make when deciding what components of ROS are applicable for your application. QUARC’s python support, as shown in Murtaza Bohra’s webinar, will be used to design a custom ROS node as a demonstration of how QUARC and ROS can be combined. Lastly Quanser’s QCar will be used to demonstrate a custom ROS package configured for autonomous mobile robotics research.
